The majority of J. Starr’s Flower Barn clients opt to go the completely custom route with an individualized proposal that outlines your wedding floral needs. This includes floral designs for personal flowers (bouquets/boutonnieres/etc), ceremony designs, centerpieces, floral accents, decor rentals & more. From showstopping arches to dramatic hanging floral chandeliers to candlelit centerpieces, every detail is discussed to ensure your vision is executed to perfection.

Minimum Order

For full-service weddings & events on the mid-shore of Maryland and Sussex County Delaware, the minimum order is $3500, plus applicable service fees & taxes.

Minimum order amounts increase for delivery areas beyond the shore, and travel fees & accommodation requirements may apply.

A la carte orders for budgets less than $3500 can be picked up at our location in Preston, MD. This is also a possibility if we are already booked for full-service on your date, but you would still prefer we design for you!

Retainer Fee

You are welcome to secure your date with a non-refundable retainer fee, prior to finalizing your floral contract.

Booking Process

Please check our calendar for availability and submit inquiries through the contact form.

Within 48 hours, you should receive a response to your initial inquiry confirming availability and sending our wedding questionnaire to complete.

After completing the questionnaire, you should receive a preliminary quote within 7-10 days (although this may be slightly longer during the height of spring and fall wedding seasons). We will also set up a consultation appointment to discuss details, ideas, & options.

Booking is official with signing of the contract and payment of the non-refundable retainer. Some changes to the contract are accepted up to 30 days prior to the event date, when final payment is due.

Our goal is to make the consultation and booking process as convenient as possible, while still making sure we can connect to your style & personality through our floral designs.
